Italian Express has been located in East Boston since 1993. We started out as a small take-out place that soon became well-known for having the best Italian food around! After years of hard work and a clear vision for the future, we have since become a famous Boston landmark with visitors from all over the world!

Jim’s grandmother, Nonni, was a major inspiration for our restaurant and that is why her picture is featured on our website. We are happy to continue the tradition of bringing families together to enjoy a homemade meal at an affordable price.

All of our food is made-to-order with the freshest ingredients available; including our famous pizzas, sauté pasta dinners, house specialty dinners, hot/cold subs, soups, salads, and appetizers. We developed our “authentic Italian style pizza” after traveling around Italy and researched pizza making from Tuscany to Sicily!
